Overview
Our client is hiring a Home Care Sales and Business Development professional to expand referral partnerships and increase private-pay home care business across the Pittsburgh region. This is a field-based role focused on consistent referral activity, relationship management, and measurable growth.
What You’ll Do
- Develop new referral relationships throughout Pittsburgh and Allegheny County
- Call on hospitals, rehab facilities, physician offices, senior living communities, and discharge planners
- Drive private-pay home care referrals and support ongoing census growth
- Schedule and attend in-person meetings, lunches, and presentations with referral partners
- Attend networking events, health fairs, and community outreach activities
- Track referral activity, meetings, and results in internal systems
- Coordinate with operations to ensure smooth client intake and start of care
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in home care, home health, hospice, or healthcare sales
- Proven success generating referrals in a referral-based healthcare environment
- Strong knowledge of the Pittsburgh-area healthcare and senior services market
- Comfortable working independently in a field-based sales role
- Strong follow-up, organization, and time management skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally
Compensation
- Base salary: $55,000–$80,000 per year
- Commission and performance-based incentives
- Mileage reimbursement
